Our Classes

Open to all abilities with a maximum of 10 per class. Teachers aim to guide each individual student and also inspire a group energy. The outlines below will help you decide which class is going to serve you best.

Root Flow

HOMEGROWN & WILD

Our signature class. Inspired by nature and it’s undulating qualities, a sun and moon, yin and yang practice with balance, breathwork, dynamic movements and stillness. Root Flow encourages you to be present; feel, move authentically and follow your senses. Fully immerse yourself and re-energize in the botanical surroundings.

Sow Foundations

BASICS & INSPIRATION

New to yoga? This regular 6-week beginner course focuses on learning foundational yoga poses whilst building the strength and confidence to take your practice deeper. Engage your core and align your breath with gentle movement. An introduction to yoga, yet also beneficial for those looking for slower-paced and mindful back to basics classes.

Dynamic Flow

ENDURANCE & FOCUS

A full body, spirited flow promoting mental stability and concentration. Build stamina, strength and flexibility. Enhance sensory acuity, willpower and determination. Choose your pace and find power in your breath.

Breathe Slow Flow

ROOTING & RHYTHMIC

Following the fluctuations of the breath this class will lead you into a gentler paced sequence designed to nourish and refresh. Where energy channels are opened and explored through mindful and conscious transitions of the body. Slowly enliven in this practice of deep listening.

Power Flow

STRONG & INVIGORATING

Delve into more modern, functional movement and transition with control in between each pose to develop flexibility, fluidity and mobility. Core strength and stamina are explored in longer held poses to help improve posture and build inner fortitude. Expect clear instructions and approachable sequences with both modifications and challenges.

Held By The Earth

SUPPORT & NURTURE

An approachable and softer class influenced by Iyengar yoga with emphasis on body awareness and precise physical alignments. Props such as blocks, blankets and belts are used to ensure accurate postures, cater to limitations and encourage a supportive atmosphere. Slowly build strength, flexibility and develop your practice feeling safe and held.

Hatha

CONTROL & BALANCE

Expect a powerful practice with static postures, mindful breathwork and a slower pace. This dynamic allows for a greater focus on alignment and breathing, making the practice accessible to yogis of all levels. Challenge your strength and flexibility, while at the same time focusing on relaxation and mindfulness.

Vitality Flow

HEAT BUILDING & REFRESHING

This flow will increase your heart-rate, focussing on warming, strengthening and stretching to awaken your soul. Have fun, play with balance and lighten your mood. The energy is high, allowing you to absorb all that fresh, plant-purified air.

Wild Nurture (Prenatal)

CALMING & EMPOWERING

Guiding you through the beauty and transformation of pregnancy, birth and motherhood. Expect a safe space to bond with your little seedling - nurturing relaxation in both mind and body. Gentle poses and breathing techniques are combined with body awareness to allow you to fully let go and indulge in a supportive atmosphere. Prenatal yoga keeps your changing body mobile, eases the tension of growing weight, creates space in and strengthens the soft tissues that facilitate birth, and aids recovery.

*There is a 30 minute space before each practice to socialise, bond and build friendships with other to-be-mums and parents. Also providing an opportunity to gain advice from and/or ask questions to our highly knowledgeable antenatal teachers who specialise in birth preparations, hypnobirthing and postnatal recovery.

Roots and Shoots (Postnatal)

ENCOURAGING & PLAYFUL

Learn how to restore balance and get back in touch with your vital energy in this fun and replenishing practice. A safe and friendly space where each class is led by the yogis (little and large) in the moment. You will be guided through supportive movement, breathing techniques and massage to help nourish and strengthen, and connect with both yourself and your wildling. Leave feeling grounded and refreshed.

All parents are welcome and there is no specific age limit for your little one if you feel the practice would serve!

*There is a 30 minute space after each practice to socialise, bond and build friendships with other to-be-mums and parents. Also providing an opportunity to gain advice from and/or ask questions to our highly knowledgeable antenatal teachers who specialise in birth preparations, hypnobirthing and postnatal recovery.

Meditation

TURN INWARD & EXPLORE

Training the heart and mind. A core practice that is available to everyone, classes will combine meditation and mindfulness to create a deeply nurturing experience and an opportunity for you to pause and reflect within your day. Offering yoga, breathing and guided visualisation techniques that can be integrated in everyday life. Take your practice beyond the physical, turn your attention inward and explore what’s on the inside.

We don’t ask for payment for this class, only that if you find value in these practices, have the means and feel moved to, that you contribute in some way to the local charity Devizes Opendoors and pay the energy forward into their important work.

Ashtanga

SPIRITED & CHALLENGING

Explore the full 90 minute Ashtanga Primary Series. This purifying practice encompasses breath-work with sound, bandhas (body locks) and the asana (pose) sequence with connecting movements. Expect a dynamic class with an energetic pace, guiding you through the four main parts: an opening sequence, the main series, a back-bending sequence and a set of inverted asanas, referred to as the finishing sequence. Practice always ends with savasana! 

Candlelit Restorative

HEAL & DEEP NOURISHMENT

Passive healing. Sink into evening bliss as this relaxing class involves surrendering, slowing down and exploring the mind and body as you settle into opening postures. Completely let go in this soft and supportive practice. Expect to use props and feel safe and calm.

Mandala Flow

CONNECT & REPLENISH

A fun and playful practice based on connecting you to the four elements of the universe (earth, water, fire and air) and spiral patterns of nature. You will journey through circular movements 360 degrees around all four corners of the mat focusing on specific areas of the body that correspond to the element and chakra of the day as outlined in the Mayan calendar.

The class starts and ends with gentle yin poses so that you are able to prepare and close the parts of the self that you have explored. Expect creative sequencing and challenges while prioritising breath to movement.

Breathe Together

BREATHWORK & AWARENESS

An online “good morning” pranayama/breathwork session. Learn how to breathe with greater depth, more productivity and enhanced consciousness for the health of the physical, mental, emotional, and energetic bodies. Exploring different pranayama techniques you will practice ways to energise, purify, balance, harmonise and settle these systems, bringing us in to equanimity and awareness.

Yin

RELEASE & RESTORE

Stillness and slow movement in a peaceful and quiet environment. Yin yoga is a deeply nourishing practice, the perfect antidote to an energetic or busy lifestyle. A powerful release that asks for patience. Feel rested and revitalized for the rest of your week as you fall into the meditative powers of supported long held poses.

Tough Love

STIMULATE & TRANSFORM

In this fiery yet comprehensive 45 minute class you are invited to challenge your body and inspire your mind into a state of elevated strength, resilience and stamina. Through a series of asana and asana adjacent based sets and sequences you will up-level your functional mobility, improve your anatomical knowledge and all in all build a stronger foundation for your regular practice and daily life.

Breathe, flex, sweat and centre, because we all need a bit of tough love every now and then.

Deep Space

FLEXIBILITY & MOBILITY

Stretch deeply and increase mobility in this 45 minute flexibility-focused ‘motion is lotion’ practice. Through carefully curated warming and opening breathwork, movement and shapes you will encourage healthy joint range, lengthen muscles, reduce tension and improve circulation. Supporting supple and limber soft tissues, an agile body and an expansive mind for both your regular practice and the outside world. Expect to use props; belts, blocks and bolsters to assist with correct alignment and sensation awareness.

Lunar Noursihment

ABSORB & SURRENDER

An indulgent 90 minute Yin practice to nurture receptivity and intuition by embracing our affinity with the moon. 

Each month we see the lunar cycle. The moon’s ever changing form pulls at the Earth’s tides and gravity, and our inner watery workings often mirror her powerful dark and light fluctuations. This calming class is a chance to connect deeply with those energy shifts - to welcome the ebb and flow.

It is a space to self-reflect, lean into letting go, say goodbye to each phase and rebalance. Leave feeling rested and restored, with a heartfelt awareness of self and all that is holding you here. Expect to use props and feel safe and supported as you fall into the meditative powers of long-held poses.

Shape Shift

INFLUENCE & CO-CREATE

Feel into the sublayers of the self to open new portals of motion magic.

Explore myofascial release techniques using a variety of props to massage, dissolve tension and relieve trigger points in the muscles and fascia - the body’s web of connective tissue. Slowly lengthening, creating space and increasing range of motion before harnessing the benefits in a dynamic, creative and playful flow. 

An empowering and transformational practice; expect to journey through shapes within shapes, lean into your edges and find deeper dimensions of movement.
