Satsang is a Sanskrit term derived from two roots: sat meaning "true"and sangha meaning “community”. It can be translated as "associating with good people" or simply "being in the company of truth" and refers to the act of gathering with like-minded, uplifting people, especially those interested in yoga, meditation or on a spiritual journey.
Every few months Sow & Root host a free two-hour inclusive, community inspired satsang. Each one with a different focus, topic or theme. Including exploring practice styles and books, listening to lectures, sharing insightful podcasts, or watching interesting films and documentaries - before reflecting on their meaning and assimilating them into daily life.
This shared space provides the opportunity for self-inquiry and inner growth, to practice together, discuss, learn, question, spark insight, regain focus and recharge ourselves in a supportive environment: to connect.
Join Rose at our next satsang and explore hip mobility and a better brain-body connection to improve movement on and off of the mat.
Tight, achey hips or not enough range of motion to do all the things that you want to do? By focusing on passive/active stretching, isometric muscle contractions, eccentric/concentric loading and functional movement patterns, you will improve anatomical knowledge, increase flexibility and strength, help reduce any discomfort and put a spring in your step.
Move better to feel better!
Whether you’re new to a physcial practice, or a regular mover groover, this fun workshop/practice/journey into the sacral chakra will be suitable for all.
As always, we will close the experience with tea and treats.
